Hello, I'm Mariam

The Girl Behind the Blog

My name is Mariam . Just a girl with a restless mind, a quiet heart, and a lot to say

Not because I had all the answers. But because I had too many feelings I didn't know what to do with.

"Pen and Paper was born from everything I couldn't say out loud."

There are things that happen in this world — injustices, heartbreaks, questions about faith, news stories that shatter you — and sometimes talking isn't enough. Writing is how I process. It's how I make sense of what I see around me. This blog is my quiet corner for that.

I write about what genuinely moves me. Some days that's a woman whose story deserves to be told. Some days it's a book that changed how I think. Some days it's a dua I've been making for years, wondering if it will ever be answered. I don't stick to one lane — because life doesn't either.

If you're someone who feels things deeply, who gets angry at injustice, who finds comfort in words — I think you'll feel at home here.

I'm not a professional writer. I'm not an expert on anything. I'm just a girl with a lot of thoughts, a genuine love for reading, and the belief that ordinary voices still deserve to be heard.

"I write because silence is not always peace. Sometimes it's just fear."

Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.

Want to say hello or share something with me? I'd love to hear from you. Reach out through the Contact page — I read every message.
